Vitamin E Blocks Lipid Peroxidation

• Vitamin E was topically applied to hairless mice and was irradiated 15 minutes after product application. UVB dose: 200 mJ/cm² for 6 minutes and 40 seconds. These are the results of 2 studies.

From this study we can conclude that vitamin E acetate at a 5% concentrate offered the best reduction in lipid peroxidation, and free radical damage to the skin is therefore also reduced. ^{REF 128}
