On this page we look at how vitamin A stimulates wound healing, when applied topically to the skin. The tests were done on rat skin, as well as
on guinea pigs, but are totally applicable for comparison purposes to the effect
vitamin A has on wound healing in human skin, when applied topically.
Topical application once daily for three days with results after a seven day recovery period. REF 99
