Eyeserylฎ is a patented peptide developed by one of our associates Lipotec, and was specifically developed to remove puffy eyes and to reduce black rings under the eyes in a very short time. After 15 days the effects can already been seen and measured.
This ingredient is so highly regarded in the industry that it won the award for "Best New Technology".
In our Rejuvenating Eye Cream Eyeseryl is only one of the many active ingredients which makes our Rejuvenating Eye Cream such an effective and popular product.

The skin under our eyes is the thinnest skin in our bodies, only 0.5mm thick and around four times thinner than average skin. This is one of the reasons why normal ageing processes of the skin are far more visible around our eyes.
There are two main kinds of baggy eyes:
- those caused by fluid retention
- those caused by fat
As we age, the skin loses its elasticity, and the connective tissue in the skin also weakens, which can result in loose skin accumulating around the eyes, forming folds in the eyelids.
The fat that cushions the eye sockets then moves forward, out of the ocular cavities and accumulates in bulging bags around the eyelids, and very often appears as baggy eyes.
Another major reason for puffy eyes is water accumulation, also known as eyelid oedema. Fluid may build up for several reasons; two of the major reasons being poor lymphatic circulation and increased capillary permeability.
The weakened skin folds easier in this area, causing the puffy baggy eyes effect, and the veins beneath this tissue show through as dark circles.
Eyeseryl fights puffy eye bags by working on several mechanisms - improving the vascular system, strengthening the skin under the eyes and preventing fluid accumulation.
Decreasing vascular permeability avoids the accumulation of fluids in the interstitial compartment - and with this, improving the local vascular system.
It also protects the collagen structural network from degradation due to glycation, and thereby strengthens the skin.
Glycation is a non-enzymatic reaction between glucose or other monosaccharides and a protein. This process causes a domino effect of reactions from oxidation of the cells, cross-linking of collagen. This cross-linking weakens the tissue and hardens the elastic collagen fibers all contributing to the formation of eye bags.
Not only is the collagen affected by glycation, but the elastin fibers are also affected. This results in a degradation of the extracellular matrix and aging of the skin.
Results prove that Eyeseryl is able to contain vascular leaking permeability, which prevents fluid from leaking into the tissue and thereby reduces oedema (water retention) and with this reduces puffy eye syndrome.
Since poor circulation and lymph drainage are both contributing factors to both baggy eyes and dark rings under the eyes, Eyeseryl also targets the improvement of blood circulation, by means of an anti-hypertensive effect.
Since a slack skin with poor tone is a contributing factor to puffy eyes and black rings under the eyes, Eyeseryl was developed to increase the elasticity and tone of the skin.

To have young looking eyes, the skin around the eyes needs proper hydration and moisture to look their best, and here Eyeseryl also proved to be effective in achieving its goal.
Eyeseryl clinically proved to reduce both puffy eyes as well as dark circles around the eyes.
Our In Vivo tests showed:
- 70% of the test subjects showed improvement in ONLY 15 days
- At the end of the test, 95% of the test subjects showed reduced puffiness of their baggy eyes
- Using the test cream for 30 days, the elasticity of the skin improved by 35%
- At the end of the test 95% of the test subjects showed less congested eyes and far smoother skin around their eyes
- After 60 days of using the test cream, skin tone was measurably increased as well as skin firmness
These tests were based on a minimum amount of 1% Eyeseryl in the cream used for testing, whereas we, as recommended by Lipotec, use 10% Eyeseryl in our Dermaxime Rejuvenating Eye Cream.
